Crowberry, Wild Mountain Bilberry
In Finland, the season for crowberry begins in July and continues until the first snow falls. The taste of the crowberry is fresh and a little sour. It is particularly suitable to be used as raw material in beverage industry. Crowberry is used in the natural product industry, as well, due to its high contents of fenolic compounds.
